Michael Gabridge is a Colorado-based biologist-photographer who offers a new perspective on nature. He creates and captures unique views of the natural world and converts them into graphics that both please the eye and stimulate the mind. His signature work involves the use of special backlighting on aspen leaves that have been arranged into fascinating configurations. Reminiscent of an ink-blot, these abstract images reveal the beauty, intricacy and elegance hidden in the smallest parts of the aspens that blanket the Rocky Mountain region.
