Purchasing Information
All of the images in this website are available for purchase. They were captured on film (35 mm and medium format), and then scanned in order to create digital files. We offer PRINTS, FLOATING FRAMES, and NOTE CARDS. You might also wish to consider GIFT CERTIFICATES, or STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY.
PRINTS: The images are provided on photographic paper of archival quality, meaning that with proper care (displayed under glass, and kept out of direct sunlight), the colors will remain true for many years (at least 75, and probably more).
The 8x10 inch prints are generated by the artist on an HP printer with Vivera inks and using high gloss photo paper. The 16x20 inch prints are done by Fine Print Imaging using their trademarked "Lumira" process which converts the information in a digital file to the print on Fuji Crystal (glossy) archive paper. These larger images are known for their exceptional sharpness, color saturation, and color accuracy.
All prints are signed by the artist, who personally inspects each final order and does the packaging. They are done in limited editions (150 for the 8x10s, and 50 for the 16x20s) and each is numbered.
In terms of mats and frames, there is an infinite variety of possibilities and combinations. Hence, we provide the large prints only and allow you to make the final selections on colors, textures, wood or metal, size, and any other special requirements you might have. You can do-it-yourself using materials available at almost any craft store, or you can work with your favorite frame shop. That way, you get precisely what you need to match your décor. The small prints come in a white mat to protect them since they're shipped flat.

To order standard sized images, simply click on buttons below the images in the gallery. If you'd like alternate, or larger sizes, just email us with your selection (Portfolio, and image number) and the desired size, and we will arrange delivery and billing.
Shipping (U. S. Postal Service, Priority/Insured) of prints is provided at no cost to the customer (express shipments can be arranged, at cost). The large (16x20) prints arrive in a protective plastic sleeve and are rolled and inserted into a sturdy shipping tube to minimize cost and time in transit. Just remove them from the tube and store them flat before matting and framing.
FLOATING FRAMES:
The image of the aspen leaves almost appears to float in air. It is truly distinctive, and each is a signed and numbered limited edition. It makes an excellent gift for almost any occasion, and/or serves as an excellent memento of the Rocky Mountain region.

NOTE CARDS: We offer hand-crafted, deluxe note cards from the "Aspen Abstracts" portfolio (5 x 7 inch, containing a 4x6 inch print made on "metallic" paper known as Kodak Endura). This creates a pearlescent finish and an image that almost looks three-dimensional. The card is an elegant black, with white inserts inside, ready to capture your thoughts and sentiments for a special person or loved one. This creates a striking, sleek presentation and it clearly is not your typical card shop or drugstore all-occasion card. People remember this one!
They also can be framed, with the black card stock acting as the mat in this case. The cards come in boxes of 8 (with envelopes), each featuring two copies of each of the four most popular images from the Aspen Abstract gallery ("Aspen Study - #001; "Autumn Begins - #011; "Aspen Leaves - #004; and "Aspen Autumn - #006) . They come in a sturdy, white box with a clear plastic cover and closed with a gold plastic ribbon. Nice gift idea!

TAX Note: All prints, cards, and gift certificates (and shipping) will require 2.9% sales tax for Colorado residents. Estes Park and Larimer County residents have a total tax of 7.7%. Out of state (non-Colorado) are not subject to sales tax.
STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY: If you would like to use one of our images in any secondary use (as in a brochure, book, advertisement, etc), one-time rights to any of the images shown here on this website can be obtained for a modest usage fee. Please note that we have a very large collection of aspens, general nature photography, and landscapes beyond what is shown here. Also, please visit the artist's other website devoted to Rocky Mountain graphics: www.michaelgphotography.com. He has numerous nature images beyond what appear in the websites. Just contact him describing your specific needs and to obtain details regarding stock usage.
